We had such a great stay here. Gustavo and the team always made sure to make us feel at home and reminded us to ask for anything we needed. The rooms are spacious and the service is exceptional. We went in the rainy season; though we brought our umbrella, Gustavo brought a bigger one to our door before we went to dinner the first night. The restaurant next door gave us a discount when Gustavo called ahead and let them know we'd be coming. Our second day, we asked questions about nearby beaches and he had beach towels waiting for us at reception and a laydown of the nice spots. It's a very cozy hotel and it's designed so that you have a beautiful ocean view from the bistro, terrace, and your bedroom. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel VOS for our first trip to Manuel Antonio.Posted on Google

He treated us like family throughout our entire stay. The place was extremely clean and had amazing food with even better views of the ocean on both sides. The pool was nice and me and my friend felt safe the entire time we were there. Super close to all the attractions and easy to get around! Alandres6629 April 2026A good choice from Hotel in Quepos I stayed at Hotel VOS during my visit to Quepos. This rating was a little thought between 4 or a 5. I gave it a 5 because of the owner. He greeted me when I arrived as was very nice and friendly. The hotel is in a good location that allows you to go to many of the attractions in Quepos and nearby area. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and the rooms have kitchens with a full size refrigerator and microwave. There is a small pool area in front of the rooms and the view is awesome. I think for the price it is very reasonable. A few things to consider is that parking is on the street which is narrow. I was very fortunate in that there are 2 spots directly under the hotel and was able to get one each night mainly because I was back in my room by 7:00pm I think. Getting in the parking spot is a little tricky I had to use the 4x4 option on my rental as there is a curb to climb and it is a small spot. The other bit of information I can offer is that this part of Quepos is not what I consider pedestrian friendly but most of the area is the same. Very limited off street parking and no sidewalks. You will be walking on the street to get to local restaurants and shops. All things considered I enjoyed my stay.Posted on Google
Ella Gibbons27 April 2026Me and my friends only stopped in to ask for some water on our way to Playa Biesanz. The owner Gustavo greeted us, he filled up our water but then also invited us inside. He allowed us to explore the beautiful hotel, with the stunning views of the ocean and the jungle, it was truly breathtaking. The restaurant on the second level looked amazing and the rooms were very luxurious. He was so welcoming and friendly. The whole place looked like we were in a dream. We also had a dip in the pool which was very needed after a hot walk. Its perfectly placed, not too far from a bus stop and other shops and restaurants and only 10 mins from Playa Biesanz. He was more than happy to share his story and tell us about his love for his country and the wildlife which was great to hear. The location looks great with fantastic views overlooking the bay. Gustavo and his family made the stay so special — we’d recommend getting the breakfast as Gustavo da chef makes it by hand and it’s delicious! Views are also fantastic from the hotel all over. Would love to come back! The entire team is very helpful and responsive and made our stay feel like a private hotel. Late notice cancellation on wedding event With regret I have to rate Hotel VOS one star. On June 25th 2025 I contacted Hotel VOS with information regarding hosting a welcome party for my wedding weekend in manuel antonio. The wedding was the last weekend of February 2026. Hotel VOS cancelled our welcome party on January 18th 2026, this is 40 days from our event. This is 207 days after we first contacted them. We put down a deposit with them on July 16th 2025. Read more below if you want further detail but we wanted to first highlight the disorganization and unprofessional last minute cancellation we were faced with. On July 12th 2025 Hotel VOS provided us with a bonfire proposal, we accepted the proposal and moved forward with a deposit. On January 16th we had a call with Zina, on this call it became very apparent that they were extremely unprepared and overpromised on their proposal. Zina had not yet made a menu with the chef, she had not yet confirmed the location of the bonfire, she had not yet booked a musician for the event, which they proposed. When we asked these questions and tried to get clarification on what our options were, and really, were just trying to work with them on planning our event, we were met with “you have too many custom requests, this will take too much time and cost too much,” hence the cancellation. Luckily we had another hotel in the area host us and throw the most wonderful welcome party, I am sure the hotel is great but I would not trust the with throwing your event!Posted on Google

Tim21 February 2026The owner and staff treated us like family. Being surrounded by such an amazing community, nature, and wildlife all around makes this entire stay worth every second! The architecture is fun to explore, and we could tell some upcoming developments of the hotel will make this one to come back for. The restaurant and cocktail bar over the pool is undeniably the best part of staying here!Furnishings, door issues, and some aging colors of the walls make the room feel a bit outdated, but this shouldn’t stop anyone from trusting the staff does their best to create a clean and friendly space.Parking was quite a challenge, leaving us a very tight spot under the metal beams supporting the front entry or a spot on a very tight street that was currently under construction, but we decided to let that be part of our adventure! Las vistas que ofrece en comunión con la piscina son espectaculares y dignas de disfrutar al máximo. He estado en muchos hoteles y puedo afirmar que la gastronomía que ofrece es espectacular. La variedad culinaria y el buen hacer por parte del cheff ha sido un descubrimiento, que he tenido la fortuna de poder disfrutar. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, con unas vistas increíbles desde la propia habitación y además con acceso directo a la piscina. Una maravilla. María Dolores F1 May 2025Aceptable. Ni fú, ni fá. La habitación era cómoda y el dueño tiene dos perros adorables. Cuando el restaurante está abierto está bien, la comida está rica y el cocinero se nota que es un buen chef. Nuestra habitación estaba pegada a la "recepción" donde el dueño del "hotel" se pasa los días y tardes conversando con sus amigotes. No hay servicio de streaming netflix ni nada parecido, no pagan la cuenta... La limpieza de la habitación es floja, no nos repusieron el papel y tuvimos que pedirlo. El "restaurante" del hotel no cumple con los horarios que publica y en una de esas te encuentras al dueño haciendo de este su cocina particular con sus amigos... La piscina estaba descuidada. El horario de recepción es absurdo y llegando fuera de este tienes que acceder de manera incómoda al igual que si te vas antes bajando escaleras con maletas que pesan... No te dejan entrar antes a la habitación porque "no está lista" nos tuvieron en ese pequeño salón al lado de la propia habitación hasta las 15h y cuando supimos que esa era nuestra habitación y que llevábamos 2h ahí esperando al lado viendo que nadie había entrado desde entonces nos partimos de risa... porque es absurdo que si ya estaba preparada no me dejes entrar... otra cosa sería hacer una noche extra... pero por un par de horas cuando además me voy a ir 3h antes del check out... pues muy feo la verdad. Fe F28 March 2025The Hotel to be in Manuel Antonio ... VOS ! We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation days. The hotel was very nice, the rooms very comfortable, and the common areas, like the pool and terrace, have ocean views, making it a pleasant place to have breakfast or coffee in the afternoon with a perfect sunset in the background. The chef's food was delicious. The staff was also quite friendly, and if we talk about the owners, wow, they were always super attentive meeting them was a great pleasure. Stacey W28 March 2025Wonderful views and hospitality! We enjoyed our stay at VOS! The view from our room was unbelievably beautiful. The concierge was so helpful. She set up a catamaran cruise, a walking tour of Miguel Antonio National Park, and an in-room massage for us. We ate in the restaurant three times and everything we had was delicious. Note: they are closed on Mondays, so be prepared to eat somewhere else that day. We stayed during the week and practically had the pool to ourselves. So refreshing! Our room was well appointed and the A/C a godsend. 😀 My one caveat is that if you are afraid of heights, the parking situation is scary. I had to get out of the car while my husband backed up essentially toward a cliff. 😳 But, there are parking spaces, which is always a plus! Ayanna W23 February 2025Amazing hotel! I can’t say enough great and amazing things about our stay! A couple owns this hotel - they are incredibly nice and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean. The monkeys would come down in the evening - so you have a good chance of seeing wild life right at the hotel. There is also and incredible view of the beach and a deliciously affordable restaurant right at the hotel. What sets this place apart from anywhere else is that I accidentally left my phone & wallet and the owner drove 7 hours in traffic (normally a 3 hr drive) from Manuel Antonio to San Jose to personally ensure I received my items back safely. That is just pure genuine kindness and generosity that is rare these days. I will recommend anyone to stay here and would 100% stay here again. Great place! Amazing owners! Great value for the price. My friend and I loved watching all the different species of monkeys and birds from the patio listening to all the jungle noises was relaxing. the place itself was clean and beautiful I felt at home. staff were all hospitable,courteous, friendly and helpful. shout out to Brayan was always so helpful and welcoming and Jazz for his amazing food and Andres thank you too. It was ok but nothing to Brag about Our small family run hotel was beautiful , great location in the rain forest and ocean view…we were the only ones there most of the time except on weekends when we saw a few more people. However, because it was off season they had no staff except one maid who was bad at her job. The owners were around only in the daytime sometimes and we had to WhatsApp them if we wanted anything. The maid never cleaned our room properly. I mean she did the beds and sheets, but I found smudge marks on the walls, tables and curtains. I think they just assumed 2 guys we wouldn’t care. We complained and they comped one night, but j in had to ask for it because we were threatening to leave. In the pictures it looked like two bedroom but it was only one bedroom with a big bed and the living room had a pull out bed. Not exactly a 4 star place and it look far from the pictures. The owner finally put a single bed in the living room and that’s where I slept. The price was $200-250 a night which was fair because we were sharing and it was huge suit. I never felt like I was in a tight room. We had to ask for coffee a lot of times even though it came with the room and sometimes they didn’t want to give us more than one pouch., so we bought more coffee from the super market. The room looked like it had a private balcony, but actually it was a shared balcony with all the other guests…it was like a communal balcony attached to the restaurant, but it didn’t matter because we were the only ones there for the most part. The restaurant was run by one cook/chef who was not great he was a cook from Canada living down there…nice guy but I wouldn’t call him a chef and his food a bit over priced and not great so we never ate there. I asked for extra towels because it was hot and muggy down there and I got them…but I used their “laundry service” one day…I think it was the maid who did my laundry the first time… and she threw my cloths in a bag not folded and somewhat damp and I paid $25 US cash???, I was mad, so I complained again and the husband redid my laundry and folded it properly the second time Overall the couple that owned the hotel were nice and I think they were trying. The hotel was fine, the price was fine and the location was great, but the services sucked! Also, I felt like the hotel was looking old and used and needed some attention and renovations.Posted on Agoda

Ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt in einer stilvollen Unterkunft ☺Die Lage am Hügel haben wir sehr genossen, die Suiten haben Ausblick über den Pool & den Ozean. Sehr grosse & stilvoll eingerichtete Suiten, Mahlzeiten hervorragend, allerdings auch eher teuer. Wasserauffüllstation sowie Wäscheservice sind inklusive, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. ☺Recibimos un upgrade de habitación lo cual fue muy bueno ya que la habitación era muy amplia y estaba bien equipada, ademas de que tenía mejor vista al mar y se escuchaba menos ruido. El personal brindó una atención muy buena, todos muy amables como Dylan y sus compañeros. Atentos a dar recomendaciones. ☹Casi no había parqueo y el carro quedaba en una zona muy incómoda y peligrosa. El hotel está cerca de la playa Biesanz que es muy recomendable. El último día de mi estadia tenía una actividad desde temprano y el hotel me dejó hacer el check out antes y guardar mi equipaje, al regresar también me ofrecieron un lugar para bañarme y cambiarme antes de partir. Terry Lane16 January 2018I spent the holidays staying in Casa Manana and I can honestly say in was one of the best experiences of my life, the accommodation was luxurious with breathtaking views over the jungle and coastline. One of the highlights for me was feeding the monkeys who would soon appear at the sight of food. Some great places to eat nearby and if you get there between 5 and 6 pm you can watch the amazing sunset. My host Zina was just awesome, she gave me endless information on places to visit and activities in Manuel Antonio. I am already looking at booking my flight to go back later this year.
