SJO is generally the most convenient major international airport for Manuel Antonio. LIR is another option, while Quepos Airport is the closest airport for domestic connections.
How long is the drive from San José or Liberia?
SJO is usually approximately 2.5–3+ hours by road. LIR is commonly approximately 5–6+ hours, depending on traffic, weather and road conditions.

Is a 4×4 vehicle necessary?
A 4×4 is not normally required for the primary route to Hotel VOS.
